Stanley Park on New Year night

We (with my family) went to Stanley Park on New Year night and had dinner there, too. We planned to take BB out to see the Christmas lights, but never had a chance. And I wanted to take her to ride on the train in Stanley Park. Therefore, we decided to do it on New Year night. But too bad that the train tickets were sold out before our dinner time. BB seemed a little bit disappointed as I told her earlier that we would take her to ride a train. I felt disappointed, too as I broke the promise to her. I should bought the tickets on-line.

One funny thing was that BB saw a firefighter and an old fire engine. She immediately walked to him and to the vehicle and she was curious to know and to touch the fire engine. She insisted to stay even we wanted to take her away. Finally, the firefighter helped her to put on the kid's sized firefighter jacket and let her to play with the fire engine. She was happy and fulfilled her curiosity.

After all, we went to the Fish House to have dinner. The restaurant was quiet that night. The foods were okay, but not as I expected. For sure, BB didn't like the foods as she only tried a few bites. I found that she doesn't like western foods overall.

That's our New Year night! Happy New Year to you all!
